Julia Balandina Jaquier, PhD, CFA

Founder of JBJ Consult, lecturer, and author

Julia brings a unique combination of 20+ years of practical experience in impact finance, a deep understanding of the needs of wealth owners and cutting-edge experiential education techniques.

She is an internationally recognized expert in impact investment and a trusted adviser to major families of wealth, international banks, and the Swiss and UK Governments. Julia is the founder of JBJ Consult, the author of two books on impact investing, and an experienced Board member, having held non-executive positions at various organizations, including SIFEM (Swiss Development Finance Institution), FORE Partnership, Unilever, and toniic T100.

An award-winning educator, she has lectured on impact investment at IMD, St. Gallen University, Harvard, Yale, and CEIBS. Julia was a Senior Fellow at CSP, University of Zurich, where she led the NextGen Impact Leadership Accelerator (NILA) and was a mentor and lecturer at the IRI/CSP Impact for the Next Generation program at Harvard and Zurich Universities.

Vanina is a Professor and Director of the elea Center of Social Innovation at IMD Business School. She is an economist and political scientist specializing in social innovation, entrepreneurship, and CSR, with 20 years of teaching, researching, and consulting experience.

Luca is a Co-founder of the Rancilio Cube Family Office. Luca is an impact investor with Rancilio Cube, which has made 80+ investments in the last five years. For over 25 years, Luca was also one of the main shareholders in Rancilio Group, an espresso machine company.

Valerie is the Chair of Rockefeller Brothers Fund, and is actively involved in aligning its endowment with its mission. She serves as a Trustee of the Asian Cultural Council, Columbia University Teachers College, Greenwich Academy, and Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, among others.
